Lockland Schools is proud to celebrate Ashley Neal, a 2011 Lockland High School graduate, who recently earned National Board Certification as a teacher. This achievement highlights her dedication, hard work, and passion for education.
After graduating from Lockland, Ashley attended Campbellsville University, where she excelled academically and played softball for four years. She has spent the past eight years teaching 9th-12th grade English at Taylor County High School in Kentucky and also serves as head coach for the academic team and assistant coach for the softball and mock trial teams.
Earning National Board Certification is a significant milestone that recognizes outstanding teaching practices.
Ashley says she is very proud to have achieved National Board Certification, but she couldn’t have done it without “all my teachers and professors who helped guide and mold me into the educator I am today.”
“The teachers I had while attending Lockland were some of the best people and educators, and I can’t thank them enough for all the time and effort they put into their students, classrooms, and extracurricular programs,” she says.
Ashley encourages current Lockland students to aim high: “Do your best, work hard, and know you can achieve your goals. Go Panthers!”
Lockland Schools congratulates Ashley on this exceptional accomplishment!
